AI-based Robotics in Europe: Live technology demonstration and high-level round table
On 2 September 2026, euROBIN will host its Final Event at the European Parliament in Brussels, bringing together Members of the European Parliament, representatives of the European Commission, industry leaders and internationally recognised robotics researchers.
The event will showcase 15 AI-based robotic systems developed by the euROBIN community, highlighting Europe's leading position in robotics research and innovation. The live demonstrations will be accompanied by a round table discussing the future of AI-based robotics in Europe and the importance of strengthening collaboration between research, industry and policymakers.
The event is organised by euROBIN, the European Network of Excellence in Robotics, funded by Horizon Europe. With 31 core partners from 14 countries and 38 cascade-funded partners, euROBIN is building Europe's shared ecosystem for intelligent robotics, with AI-based transferability between robots, tasks and environments at its scientific core.

The ENFIELD Final Conference will take place on 7-8 July 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together leading experts from academia, industry and public policy to discuss the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of artificial intelligence in Europe.
Designed to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and real-world deployment, the two-day event will explore key topics including trustworthy AI, sustainable AI, edge AI, explainability, security, AI literacy and workforce development. The conference will also provide a platform for demonstrations, networking and discussions on the future of European AI collaboration.
The programme features keynote speeches from distinguished speakers, including Rod Evans, Vice President for Supercomputing, HER Cloud and AI for Europe, Middle East and Africa at NVIDIA, and Virginia Dignum, Professor of Responsible Artificial Intelligence at Umeå University and internationally recognised expert in AI ethics and governance.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with researchers, policymakers and industry representatives through panel discussions, demonstration sessions and networking activities. The event will conclude by highlighting the role of the European Networks of Excellence in driving research collaboration and translating scientific advances into societal impact.

Robophilosophy Conference 2026: “Connected Futures: Nature, Robots, and Society”
The Robophilosophy Conference 2026 (RP2026) will take place from 11 to 14 August 2026 at University College Dublin (UCD).
RP2026 will explore the profound transformations occurring at the intersection of technological innovation, the shaping of future societies, and increasing concerns about natural degradation. As robotic systems become ever more integrated into human life, the conference aims to create a much-needed space for informed and meaningful dialogue across disciplines.
The event brings together perspectives from social robotics, computer science, and human–robot interaction, alongside contributions from the humanities and social sciences, law, economics, ecology and climate research. It is the seventh edition of the Robophilosophy Conference Series and continues its tradition of critically examining how robotics and AI reshape our shared world.
