euROBIN 1st Open Call for Exchange Programme

 

euROBIN offers up to €60 000 to build transferable tech solutions to be included in the EuroCore repository! The European project euROBIN launches its 1st Open Call for Exchange Programme to establish the Network of Excellence that brings together European expertise on Robotics and AI. Companies of any size, research organisations and academia-Research Groups can now apply to the 1st Open Call for Exchange Programme.

 

euROBIN is looking for entities interested in advancing and demonstrating the transferability of robotics solutions across robots and application areas. Up to 10 companies, research organisations and academia-research groups will be selected to join an 3 to 12 month programme to build transferable tech solutions to be included in the EuroCore repository. This Exchange Programme is worth up to 60 000 Euros (lump sum) to validate the performance and transferability of your methods or hardware to be adopted by further groups, including the industry in the future.

 

Who can apply?

Proposals should be submitted by the organisation within which a group of researchers/PhD students (endorsed by the organisation they belong to/work at) will be delegated to work in a laboratory.

The entities have to be registered in:


● The Member States of the European Union and its Overseas Countries and Territories (OCT) or
● Associated Countries (AC) to Horizon Europe
● Other third countries.


Entities entitled to receive the grant should have the status of:


● Company of any size
● Research Organisation
● Academia-Research Groups


We are looking for new partners with outstanding scientific and technical expertise in the topics of the call. You have to reply to one of the challenges defined by the Consortium. Ideally, you have proven this expertise in benchmarks or previous publications.

 

How to apply?

The eligible candidates can submit their applications through the FundingBox platform microsite created for this purpose by filling up an online apllication form between the 28th of February 2023 until the 10th of May 2023.

 

The applicant can access a dedicated Open Call help desk at FundingBox Spaces Platform, an easy Guide for Applicants and a Frequently Asked Questions document which will be constantly updated while the open call is running. Moreover, a supporting webinar will be organised, to assist the interested parties in their quest to make the best out of their application.

 

For those established in an eligible country, the next steps to access the euROBIN exchange programme are:


1. Go to the Open Call application site.
2. Read the Guide for Applicants to understand the application and evaluation procedures of the Open Call.
3. Have a look at the Frequently Asked Questions in order to see if there are answers to the doubts you may have.
4. Go to the application form, fill it up and get ready to boost your code/method with funding and a mentoring plan.
